Resembles the same techniques used for Congolese Nkondi fetish sculptures , Description: Abstract standing sculpture with nailheads creating the form. Protruding nail heads on the form resemble Congolese Nkondi fetish sculptures. Curvaceous shapes of the figure signature of Dingbat's other works.

Provenance

Kenneth Johnson, who inherited the work from his mother. Kenneth and Dingbat lived in the same neighborhood. Kenneth's mother owned a restaurant and often cooked for Bat, who sometimes gave her artwork in exchange for her preparing meals for him.
