Portrait of the artist's son, Description: In Katrina's words:"Print from the series Afro-what-if-ism. Reimagining one night in 1811" began simmering in my imagination after a chance encounter and party in 2018. Reimagining what it would be like for me, my children, and my ancestors if the largest slave revolt in U.S. history went as planned and they were able to burn down every plantation along River Rd. as they marched to New Orleans to declare all enslaved persons free."
