African cultural heritage, , Description: Wooden Mixed media piece drawing from West African cultural aesthetics to explore wooden kente quilts that preserve varying ethnic perspectives and layers of African cultural heritage. The piece also suggests the discarded materials explore a separation of peoples and reunification through remembrance.
