Baltimore’s Galerie Myrtis was the setting for several events over Labor Day Weekend including the opening of There Within Lies the Gospel: Truth featuring many of the gallery’s preeminent artists.
The exhibition opening also served as a launch event for Pigment Magazine IV which chronicles Myrtis Bedolla’s mounting of The Afro-Futurist Manifesto: Blackness Reimagined during the 2022 Venice Biennale. Gracing the cover of the magazine is work by Chatmon.
